community policing

Our very own local Police Officer, PCSO Debbie Robbins, who can often be seen either driving around Chapmanslade in her impressive set of wheels, helping our Speed Watch teams, or chatting to folks at Community Coffee Mornings, reports on recent crimes and gives us some advice.

Debbie can be contacted by calling 101, or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Debbie says:

Lock your garages and sheds.  We have seen an increase in sheds and garages being broken into in our area recently. It is a good idea to keep a record of any serial numbers. Websites such as https://www.Immobilise.com allow you to securely register the details of valuable items.

Remove valuables from your cars when parked in beauty spots. In some rural areas there has been an increase in theft from motor vehicles, whereby vehicles parked in rural beauty spot areas have had windows smashed and valuable items stolen.

Have you heard about Community Messaging?  I would encourage you all to sign up to Community Messaging which is a key component of how Wiltshire Police are looking to engage with our communities. This month we have seen bulletins around action fraud and child sexual exploitation. Sign-up to our Community Messaging forum at https://www.wiltsmessaging.co.uk.
