Notes from the 1st Footpaths Group meeting

The 2nd Footpaths Group meeting, attended by over 30 people, took place on April 4. See Agenda here.

If you would like to be part of the Fantastic Footpaths group, contact John Foster at johnpfoster354@gmail.org.uk or Adam Oakley on 832437 or email  adam@chapmanslade.org.uk or just turn up at one of the meetings. All welcome.

Chapmanslade has many Footpaths, Bridleways and Byways. They give us access to the beautiful countryside as well as providing easy and direct routes through our Parish.
Some of our footpaths are diificult to pass. This one on the left is overgrown with nettles and brambles with little room for the footpath. Why not Adopt a footpath of your choice or join one of the Chicken Chasers Walks?

Adopt a path

Volunteers offer a little of their time to do minor maintenance work on a nominated footpath of their choice.

More than one person can adopt the same footpath. Any work that cannot be undertaken can be reported to John Foster who will inform Wiltshire Council.
